Faf has gone to pick up the ball a few times this series already, they've told him not to pick it up.

Goes and does it again next test, open slather.

Given the conditions + 300 run lead, would you enforce the follow-on?
Not against this batting line up on this deck with more than two days to go. It's so dry you'd hate to bat last chasing even 150 odd on it, plus if SA had to bowl again today you'd think Steyn would take no part, whereas there's some talk he might be able to bowl in a couple of days or such.

Still, it's a tough call. 300+ is such a massive lead.

Will Dale bat? Hope we don't let the tail wag. And get FAF out please. Guy becomes Bradman against us. To think he was out on zero....Darr going downhill.

Disagree, never open slather to just continuously abuse a bloke (as opposed to sledging). Particular difference.

If you give that much of a **** complain to the umpire.

I think the umpire would just tell them to appeal if they did that.

If what Jack says is true about Faf picking it up numerous times despite being asked to then I think I actually would appeal though. A bit of a dog act in normal circumstances but if he's doing it repeatedly after being asked not and potentially altering the state of the ball then he's fair game for the appeal IMO.

Was watching it at the pub without any sound on, so don't know what could be heard over stump mic.

You're relying on "good faith" that they aren't going to appeal in the first place, it's an abuse of cricket etiquette in the first place. Always going to escalate.
