Probably cos he's a mother's boy?Yeah it's pretty obvious physical intimidation/aggression doesn't really work for MJ. He's just too docile and softly spoken off the field.
Funny how Johnson only got fined, but didn't get a two-match ban, like Suleimann Benn....Johnson has prior form, he got quite fired up during a warm up in the ashes for what seemed a non-issue. Fired up hasn't seemed to work for him yet.
Exactly.Well if he pleads guilty, it is looked upon favourably.
Heh, clearly doesn't read The Australian much. The football codes absolutely dominate the sports coverage from about mid-February until October so the fact that it was 3 pages deep is hardly a surprise, the report would have been there even if they had won.
Michael Mason??? Fully Sick! While we are at it lets get Lancer Hamiltron out of retirement.Mason's not a totally bad choice. He hasn't disgraced himself in his ODI career and has been in good form in List A for a while now and wasn't exactly disgracing himself before he was dropped.
I mean, we could've gone back to Chris Martin...
Kerry Walmsley.Michael Mason??? Fully Sick! While we are at it lets get Lancer Hamiltron out of retirement.
No certainty - Cricket: Knee injury ends Oram's series as team wait for Vettori verdict - Sport - NZ Herald NewsSurely it won't matter with Vettori coming into the side
Carl Bulfin FTW.Kerry Walmsley.
AWTA.CH is the best ODI series in the world.
Jesus Tama Canning, he really fell off the face of the earth. What's he doing these days? Running with the Killa Beez? Bouncer on the Gold Coast?AWTA.
Tama Canning.
Yep, completely agree. The decision has surprised me, but it's not a bad one by any stretch of the imagination.tbh I reckon Mason is the right choice and the best available bowler. Actually I think in terms of selector's decisions he's probably the unluckiest bowler of the last 5 years in NZ, in that he's shown he can be competent at international level yet has been tried very few times.
Don't care that he's old, only care about the current series.
