New Zealand need another 298 runs with 5 wickets in hand..

will be great if Baz blasts fastest 100 now

They should not have dropped Ingram for Sinclair although a score of 29 is almost ok.

I can't believe I ate the whole thing
BJ Watling 24

Noticing a trend here...

And so the match is coming to a fairly predictable end. Tbh I think we've competed better than expected - yes, my expectations really were that low. On paper IMO our side looks worse than the weak one that toured Australia a year ago (missing O'B and Ryder in particular), but we've performed to a similar level. I'm starting to get a liking for a few new players - the McIntosh/ Watling opening partnership and Arnel in particular. And the series further cements in my mind how awesome Vettori and Taylor are :notworthy. Where our bowling attack will go from here is anyone's guess.

Australia good as always, though they gave us a few more freebies and opportunities than you'd usually expect an Australian team to give. I guess they did the same against Pakistan and WI, and England in the last Ashes for that matter. One player who always stands out to me is Katich. What I wouldn't give to have someone like him play for NZ...

Avatar bet anyone? I say Guptill to get out for 35 or under tomorrow.

Well, if nothing else, McCullum has an outside chance of getting consecutive hundreds against Australia

Why does McCullum always save his best for matches that we've already lost? If he'd batted like this in the first innings, we could've pushed on to a score of 350+ and really put Australia under pressure in their second innings. Really annoying player.
