So I uh forgot this was a day game, looks like my work here is done.

Also we're going to win the three matches with a crowd and lose the two in the empty stadium. #homecrowd'bantz'winzmatches

Kiwi fans have to be the most reactionary on here. A week ago you couldn't stop going on about how good the team was and how gun certain players are, and now it's all about how crap the team is and players are terrible lol

It's ****ing T20 cricket whoever wins is like 80% luck
NZ changed two things and are winning this match, I'm now prepared to declare this side the greatest in the history of T20 cricket.

Probably the most old school NZ pitch I’ve seen in a good 15 years. The kinda deck where Chris Harris would take 3/15 off 4 overs.

That’s 3 empty stadium games against Aus all up where we have been mercilessly flogged. Gives credence to the theory of scrappy battlers rising to the occasion tbh

Terrific turnaround. So much for the forecast rain. Great to see Chapman bowling and a smart move to open with Conway. I managed to get the last of the beige tops in the large size too (I tried both the stall outside the stadium and inside).

Whatever it takes!!!
Yeah, Why the **** was Conway dropped in the first place? Good to see Finch and Guptill back in the runs, good to see NZ win.

I'd usually leave this up to Howsie but all the 'haterz' who at 2-2 said NZ were scared of Australia and here goes the same old stuff (one was Flem) should face up.

Very impressed with that sort of performance to ice the series. Bowled well mostly, fielded well (Conway's drop apart) and very, very clinical with the bat. Made the adjustments we needed to in terms of bowling more spin, made the absolute right call in opening with Conway to make better use of the new ball, it was just outstanding. Stoked that Gup is back in town too, just like Australia are a better side when Finch fires, so are NZ with Gup.

gg nz. was nice to listen to. at least we can scrape past australia B in jamt20s. the bar of competence has been set here. let's hope it lifts in future.

Fitting that the one side that lost the toss and managed to successfully chase a score won the series.

What a great day is was at the Stadium as well ... stuck around for most of the women's game just because I'm masochist. But it was so good apart from that, and some sunburn.

Stead's message about intent obviously resonated. Moving Conway up to open was a great move. Phillips was super impressive the way he took on Meredith and brought it home. I guess they have stumbled upon a line up for the WC, with some extra spin options. They will presumably have to fit Ferguson in somewhere.

Also, the 3 day weather forecast for Wellington is clearly not worth bothering with.
