BARNES OUT
Do not want to bother with that "Oh, see I am the most gracious loser ever" tripe.

thanks mateGood lad. Good luck to your boys next Thursday, can't help but feel you're in line for the backlash.
Cutting down the over rates to such ridiculous levels is height of cynicism. I am an Indian and thrilled at the win in the Test and the series but I find such tactics abhorrent.
Sure india had slow over rate...but that fact nevr happened in the first session only india was going around 10 per hour and throuigh out the session one end it was afast bowler and when it was spinners at both end he got it up above 13 for the dayAnd the Indian team certainly appeared to be trying to slow the match down when Hayden and Hussey were together. I imagine if it had continued much longer, they might have been looking at a time-wasting charge. 10 overs in an hour with two spinners operating is terrible. I understand why they'd be tempted to do it, but its a bad look for test cricket.

And Precambrian, please show some class.
Seriously, worst troll. Good thing we have the likes of SS, Jono, Duffer etc. to cancel you out.
Take it easy mates. Was in good fun. Sorry if I unintentionally hurt the feelings here.
In the last decade, yeah, I think so.Is this the first time Australia are concluding an overseas tour without a single win? Not even in the practise oneS?
Yeah thats certainly been the great part of this series. Everyone has contributed at different times. That was the best thing about Mohali winI especially love this series victory as it's one of the rare ones you will see from India where no one player just dominated over the rest - ala VVS Laxman or Harbhajan in 2001. Or Sachin Tendulkar as he has so often done in ODI series in the past. Instead, virtually every Indian player chipped in at crucial times and for the most part had a hand in the victory. Except, maybe Dravid. *sniffle*
He would be part of my my Aussie top order as soon as Mike Hussey or Ponting retire, he just needs to go back make lots of runs for Victoria at the FC level and if he can improve his bowling a bit he can even replace Symonds in a few years time.I hope White doesn't play Test cricket for a long long time
No way, David Hussey is a long long way ahead of him as a batsman hopefully - better bowler as well tbh.He would be part of my my Aussie top order as soon as Mike Hussey or Ponting retire, he just needs to go back make lots of runs for Victoria at the FC level and if he can improve his bowling a bit he can even replace Symonds in a few years time.
Crowds were disappointing by 20-20 standards. However, you forget tickets were sold out for Delhi and Bangalore tests. Now I know how "other" supporters have felt the last 10 years.
Not good.
When England won the ashes in 05, I felt good for them, but now I just feel kinda angry at India.
Having no crowds for the tests was lame, they claim to be the biggest ($$) cricket nation in the world, but could not fill a ground for any day of any test.
I having only been following cricket properly since 05', it's weird that even I feel like a connoisseur, because I would rather test cricket over any form, all the time.
ODI and 20/20 results are forgotten, Test Matches and series are always remembered, this is a big blow for Australia. Congratulations India
Considering the fact that Ponting and Hussey would play test cricket for another two or three years, that would mean David Hussey would be around 33-34 then, so i think Aussie selectors would prefer to pick a younger White instead of Hussey. No way, David Hussey is a long long way ahead of him as a batsman hopefully - better bowler as well tbh.
The problem is that Hodge and Hussey are likely to be on the down when Ponting, Symonds and Jesus retire. White should be coming into his prime as a batsman, plus let's be honest, his spin is handy when not relied on.No way, David Hussey is a long long way ahead of him as a batsman hopefully - better bowler as well tbh.
