***Official Australia in India***

Pretty impressed with the kind of work the Indian players have put on the ball to keep the one side of the shiny, so it just a matter of time before it starts reversing, i think the Aussies can learn a thing or two from this, because the ball they have been using has generally been equally scuffed up on both the sides.
so that means, Australians should score as fast as they can before it starts reversing

Excellent shot from Ponting against Sharma. That was master class!

Sharma to Ponting, FOUR, fuller, but drifting towards middle and leg and Ponting is quick to get on to it and on drives it through wide mid-on. Very nicely played.

That was a really awful shot. I don't think that would have been on even if the ball didn't turn at all. Maybe he read it as the top spinner or something.

Hahaha, Bhajji gets Punter with a ripper... tell me something new!

His 300th overall, and 200th in India, and fittingly it is his bunny.

Ripper?? That was anything but a ripper, really poor shot that from Ponting there made that ball look a better then it was.

Not at all. It was a ripper because of the length. Ponting was deceived by the length (pitched up) that he realized he should have played it on the front foot only after timber.

There may be (fair) complaints about the Australian bowling, but I don't think the big-guns of the batting have stood up the way they should have done... Hayden in particular but also Ponting and maybe Clarke.

Ponting's been on the slide since that first innings first day 100 at Bangalore. Seems to have thought that the century has probably disproved all his demons in India. Hayden looked dangerous, until he became too casual and ran himself out.

BTW, Katich looks gun for a 100.

Katich is looking awesome in this innings - he's looked more assured at the crease with each innings he's played on this tour for mine, even if his scores haven't necessarily showed that. I'm backing him to convert this into a big one and rubber stamp his place in the team.

I hate his pokes which barely classifies as a sqare drive, but then he is so strong in his defence.
