To be fair the captaincy has been toothless, much the same as the bowling.

Why isn't Katich bowling ahead of Hussey, I mean doesn't the former have a test 5 for?
If you're bowling's toothless, your captaincy must be the same.

You can do things around the edges, but you can't make a silk purse from a sow's ear.

He might as well yelled out "Micheal" intending Clarke, but the other one turned up, and POnting wouldve thought, "What the hell".

Where is Lee gone? Giving him rest for the impending 4th innings?

Well Sehwag is apparently the same bloke who was calling the Aussies "cheaters" for doing the exact same thing he did there.
Did he really called them 'Cheaters ?

Do you have problem reading stuff or maybe you are one of those stupid people who just reads the biased stuff reported in your media and considers that as the eternal truth ? Sehwag never called them cheat. It is your biased media that makes up stuff all the time which folks like you believe and then harp on it over and over again as if that is the truth.

Sehwag says no to 'catches pact' with Aussies

Oct 7, 2008
NEW DELHI (AFP) — Aggressive Indian opener Virender Sehwag said Tuesday he was against a "catches pact" with Ricky Ponting's Australia in the upcoming Test series after bitter memories of the last tour Down Under.
"We suffered the most in the catches pact during the last series," Sehwag told ESPN-STAR Sports ahead of the four-match series starting in Bangalore on Thursday.
"There is no point in having such an arrangement when the Australians are claiming one-bounce catches. We'd have won the Sydney Test if they hadn't claimed catches off half-volleys in that game."
The Sydney Test ended the pre-series captains' agreement on taking the fielder's word on disputed catches, but Ponting recently said he was still open to the idea.
"I will have a think about it and see if I think it is the right idea to bring it up again," Ponting had said.
"Anil was the one who did not want that after the Sydney Test for one reason or the other. We will have a chat (before this series) and it's important to us Australians to play the game in the right spirit and embrace the culture."
The Sydney match also almost saw Anil Kumble's Indians pull out of the series after a string of controversial umpiring decisions.
The tourists agreed to continue only after the International Cricket Council pacified them by standing down West Indian umpire Steve Bucknor from the subsequent Perth Test.
Sehwag said the hosts held an edge in the coming series as they had a balanced bowling attack.
"Bangalore, Mohali and Nagpur (venues for Tests) have offered good bounce in the past and we can take advantage of these conditions with tall, fast bowlers," he said.
"If we have spinning tracks, we have the spinners to extract advantage. Their spin department is weak and there is a wide possibility we can win the series either 3-0 or 3-1."
Australia are hoping to retain the Border-Gavaskar Trophy they won by an identical 2-1 margin in the last two series in 2004 and earlier this year.

Mate, if saying "We'd have won the Sydney Test if they hadn't claimed catches off half-volleys in that game" isn't calling someone a cheat, what is?

Hilarious to see Hussey warned for running on the wicket. In this situation why wouldn't the umpires let him keep doing it when his team's batting last on it?

Nah, they call each other by their nicks, so that isn't a possibility imo.

EDIT: Huss you idiot, why the hell is he stepping on the ****ing danger area...:@

Anyone think Krejza could be tried in the next match? I know White's done what was asked, but Australia look as though they need to try something. He might be more expensive but he might create more opportunities for wickets.

Aussies should never complain, Gilchrist apart they only walk when the car has broken down and from what I have read it has been the same for a long, long time, with Trumper not being a walker:)
No one should be telling others to walk.

"There used to be a bloke who gave himself out by walking when he'd hit the ball. The popularity of that within his team-mates may be shown by the fact that since his retirement, they no longer reply to any emails, phone calls or text messages."
Adam Gilchrist gives a tongue-in-cheek response to his own philosophy of 'walking'
