**Official** Australia in India Thread

The only way the Indian team will get a shake-up is if the Mumbai Test, or even the last two days of this Test have empty stands.

And hopefully Zee, ESPNSTAR and TEN will stop arguing about telecast rights. They don't need to be showing this series. Or any series with this Indian team.

One of the most hyped up series is turning out to be a disaster, i am beginning to worry about this Indian side and it hurts me to see them performing so badly.

But then again if they'd won the second test (which they would have) i wouldn't be feeling as bad.

its not a disaster at all...the best team is winning :D

oh and no it wasnt certain that India would have won the second test...India just didnt do what they needed to fast enough..thats test cricket for you.

I meant a disaster for India, they batted so well in Australia and now with home advantage they get 185 all out on a pitch where Glenn Mcgrath played a pull and a cover drive.

I know Mcgrath and Warne are back in the side but thats no excuse for this performance.

With the bat, yes.

With the ball we're yet to be convinced by any of the back-up.
This doesn't seem like as much of a problem as it did a year ago, because of the promise Shaun Tait has shown. If Lee can manage to mature a bit further and consistently show the kind of ability he has only shown glimpses of so far, a pace trio of Gillespie, Lee and Tait will be formidable for a number of years to come. Shane Watson also seems like he is probably destined for a successful test career, with the bat and the ball.

The one thing Australia really lacks is a promising young spinner, since Hauritz and White do not appear to be of test standard at this stage.

as if they will lose a lot of fans...most true fans will accept the fact that australia are the better team...i dont expect the indian fans will boycott the team for years to come because of getting hammered by the number one team in the world

not really...indians are still going to support their team....do you mean to say that indians will start supporting the opposition teams in subsequent series...??

If Australia bat till tea or like an hour before that then this games looks like it will end in a draw to me...ofcourse if the indian batsmans dont bat like they did in the first inning

why do people say that after every match India is about to lose!? If thats the case then those fans arent really Indian fans...India is a good team...just because they lose a match here and there doesnt mean you stop supportin them.Australia still havent won one series in India in there life but still Australian fans come to see their games...people like you arent even real Indian fans

I think you mean fans shifting to other sports . It may happen if India continues to do poorly and if it coincides with India doing well in other sports{must say India has started the 13th round really well so far in the Chess Olympiad} .

I didn't get to see his batting but heard a lot about it in the last day or so. Man anything is possible with AA bowling :D
