Mr Casson
Cricketer Of The Year
That's an interesting choice of words, but I'm sure everyone knows what you mean lol.Samuel_Vimes said:It's just unfortunate that they have five world-class batsmen for four spots...

Hehe Blame it on being a second-language speaker...Mr Casson said:That's an interesting choice of words, but I'm sure everyone knows what you mean lol.
Don't worry I'm not picking on you I'll leave that to Neil. I think most native speakers would say something along the lines of that anyway.Samuel_Vimes said:Hehe Blame it on being a second-language speaker...
I'm not sure he'll ever be good enough as a 'keeper. He just seems to me to be a naturally poor catcher of the ball, regardless of his lack of technical wicketkeeping skills.Craig said:The sooner he goes back to domestic cricket and get better on his keeping skills the better - even though he is batting very well.

Well. One was plumb. It could have been given not out only if the umpire thought there was an edge.Mr Casson said:I saw one of them. It was close, no doubt about that, but at the time it was talked up way too much by Deano. I heard three, count them three, noises. Pad, bat, pad. So with a flurry of noises like that, you can understand the umpire being unwilling to give it out.
I agree. All countries should have the right to make the pitch suited to their team, why bother having a toss, if it is going to be even for both sides?biased indian said:if every country had the same kind of pitches in test matches the fun in touring will be lost.the test match pitches should be differrent in every country .its the first class pitch that has to be prepared with some grass and bounce as that will help indian team when we are touring abroad.and even though the bangalore and chennai pitches where assisting spin they where not real turners.
and ganguly should not have said the things that he talked with curator to media

Zaheer is totally redeeming himself from the first test, and first innings of the second. Kumble is bowling brilliantly as well. 3 down, Hayden, Langer and Katich all out. Things are looking good.
What was that you were saying?Mr Casson said:If they lose wickets steadily, there's no chance of 360 in one day. Absolutely none. After a while the team either consolidates while they still can, or the tail will be exposed (and they can't score at 4/5 an over for a prolonged period of time).
When was he ridiculed? We were stating that he wasn't bowling well.Mister Wright said:How quickly things turn around...If he doesn't take a wicket for the rest of the match does he then get ridiculed again?
I think Ajit Agarkar Got unlucky today...Stop just cursing Parthiv Patel... U may not see him another day...Mister Wright said:How quickly things turn around...If he doesn't take a wicket for the rest of the match does he then get ridiculed again?

He never doubted Australia would get a high score. Check all posts next time.Mr Casson said:I have absolutely no doubt that Australia will reach 300+ by the end of day one. I just said to you that if Australia lost wickets steadily they wouldn't, which hasn't happened as yet.
Hahahaha, just what I was thinking...Scaly piscine said:Could do with some Benny Hill music in the background...

It's not like I've flip flopped and said "Wow, Zaheer is a top class bowler". Even if Zaheer took 5 wickets today, if you gave me the choice of Balaji and Pathan to put in the team, I'd do it in an instant.
It's odd when people purposely look to ignite something.

I wouldn't say Australia lost wickets steadily, they had partnerships of 67, 12, 7, 148, 80, 9, 14 (and 25*) - 2 clumps of 3 wickets there.Mister Wright said:How about your read the posts I quote? I was posting the quote where he said that if Australia lost wickets steadily (which they did) they would not post above 360 in a day. Did they not reach 7-362?
