*Official* Australia in India - ODIs

Do have to have a quiet chuckle :tongue_ss to myself at Australia's current injury toll. They've for many years taken for granted McGrath and Warne's incredible ability to bowl bucketloads of overs and not get injured.

Now they're gone, Lee is getting old and all the other bowlers are suffering the usual niggles that 90% of bowlers get. Fortunately no career-threatening injuries yet though.
It's not the first time this has happened.

We've seen the likes of Adam Dale, Paul Wilson, Peter McIntyre, Brad Hogg, Matthew Nicholson, Scott Muller, Nathan Bracken (), get to play Test matches as a result of injuries to Warne and McGrath.

The big issue is that before the selectors used to bring in players who had good consistent domestic records, now they are picking the likes of Laughlin, ****ley and Holland based on very little.

In these dark days, this team can still bully and challenge for number 1 spot in the world. Especially with the likes of Katich, Warner and a few other NSW and Victorian fellows waiting in the wings.

Yeah very impressed with our depth that we're still able to compete after so many retirements and injuries over the past two years.

Assuming Mitch has been dropped (either that or they're "resting" his ankle) :( Deserved I guess given how poor he's been in the past couple ODI series. Mind you, his replacement (Hilf) isn't exactly anything to write home about....

I'm not liking the bottom half of this order tbh, from Hussey down it doesn't look flash. Australia will need the top order to fire for sure.

No idea why India have persevered with he and Nehra for so long

They are both extremely inconsistent bowlers, horrible fieldsmen and cannot bat to save themselves
At least Nehra gives a ****, despite his glaring flaws.

Munaf, well it just looks like he doesn't try.

Nehra's been all right since his return though. Reckon you're being a bit harsh. But you're right, if he's not bowling well he adds absolutely nothing to the team.

Damn that drop gonna be costly for us. Every batsman who plays on this pitch should be able to score at minimum 100 SR, if not then they are not doing their job properly.
