Cricketer Of The Year
Stoin has always been overrated by selectors and it was frustrating seeing him picked because of that innings v NZ that one time. They can't even rely on his record v India (which is surprisingly good) because he's a busted flush as a batsman and they recognise that by batting him low and giving him the new ball. It's hard to believe the sort of optimism that reckons his bowling improves as his batting wanes to the extent he uses the new ball. It seems the only reason he's there is Marsh isn't bowling. Only ever a bits and pieces player he's fallen below even his own disappointing standards. Time to kick the runt out of the team.

Who’s worse, Thakur or Short?
Short is good. A lot better than Tim David. He's an opening batsman though, playing him as a no. 8 who bowls is just strange. Probably more a "make up the numbers" kind of selection than an actual tactical choice though.
