it was the Stuart Broad angleGeez that's a good nut
EDIT: On second thoughts not as good as I thought. Just the usual issue from Warner getting squared up around off stump from that around the wicket line
It's a ball you expect a good Test quick to deliver at least 3/6 balls an over. If you can't play it then you've got a real problemit’s a good ball but it helps when you play like that
Yeah, was probably more damning that innings than getting dismissed in first over; especially his struggles against short-pitched bowling.legitimately sad to think Warner probably over performed in that knock given his recent output.
Reminding me a little of Bangalore 2017 - which alas I thought was a bad pitch - in that it's seriously ripping on Day 1. Not so much the turn but the fast turn, and bounce too. Lyon might actually like thisthis is a tough track. khawaja playing really well. shreyas will have a lot of work to do when he bats. hope rohit and rahul turn up. otherwise it will be up to the lower order again
Definitely think this is a good toss to win. Can see this deck being nasty on Day 4.Reminding me a little of Bangalore 2017 - which alas I thought was a bad pitch - in that it's seriously ripping on Day 1. Not so much the turn but the fast turn, and bounce too. Lyon might actually like this
