This is a good Test match pitch, runs coming fast and good bowling bringing wickets as well.

Also gotta give credit to Bhuvi's 4 over spell after lunch where he only gave away 4 runs, so crucial u keep the run rate down on such pitches.

This is all Warner's fault. Prick basically gifted India a collapse. Did anyone remember to tell Warner he could not get out because the next man in was Herpies!
Please, if you're going to post the terrible cricket meme that the set batsman getting out after a decent score did worse than the batsmen who failed, and also blame the fan whipping boy rather than the players who have had similar/worse series than him while ignoring his good performances, you really need to spell herpes correctly. I can't handle the trifecta.

Actually a big innings for Wade I think. He's had an okayish series without really doing anything particularly great. Couple of moderate scores and fairly good keeping. Some runs here would basically mean he keeps the keeping gig for some time to come. This is exactly why he's in the team over Nevill, his batting when the team is under pressure, ability to form partnerships with batsmen or bat with the tail as needed. A failure here and he'd be under pressure again you'd think.

Kuldeep Yadav is the most promising leggie I've seen since Warne. Not a big field obv, but God the kid has promise.
Very different to Warne as it is a low action with lots of sidespin

Also worth mentioning that Darsh hit at least 5 leg stump full tosses straight to the field - bowlers get confidence from maidens

Meanwhile, Smith looks as if he could play him with a toothpick

Don't think it's entirely coincidental that the really inexperienced Oz bats have failed today; for likes of Renshaw & Handscombe especially, may be getting mentally worn out on their first o/s Test series, especially one as intense anf challenging as this.

Assuming Smith bats twice in this test he'll play his 100th test innings, and needs 102 runs for the match to have the best average for someone after 100 innings. Incidentally can also have the most runs after 100 innings if he scores 232 runs in the test, though that seems a fair bit less likely.
Already there for the average, passing Sobers even if he gets a duck in his next innings. 126 more for Hobbs' run record.

I have gone through a range of emotions on Smith, from laughing at him to cheering for him to hating him, but have finally arrived at complete apathy. Seeing Smith has scored a ton now is just a sort of numbness, like how you feel about the drive to work in the morning. Commenting on it is like trying to comment on the date or the existence of trees. It's just the way things are.
