I have gone through a range of emotions on Smith, from laughing at him to cheering for him to hating him, but have finally arrived at complete apathy. Seeing Smith has scored a ton now is just a sort of numbness, like how you feel about the drive to work in the morning. Commenting on it is like trying to comment on the date or the existence of trees. It's just the way things are.

One positive for Australia is the amount of turn the ball before that and the variation there, at least there's some indication that there's more life in the pitch than it looked like there would be in the opening session. Definitely not just a road once the shine goes off the ball.
