Jaddu WAFG. He's MVP now over Ashwin tbh.

The spin is worrying though. I think the draw predictions were extremely premature.

O'Keefe definitely "can bat" based on his FC record but I don't think I've ever seen him make any runs. Would be a nice time for it.

He doesn't need to if he just keeps them out like he did against SA. There's the worlds best batsman on 150 at the other end.

Even session. Australia need the last three to stick with Smith who looks like he could bat all week.

Whatever it takes!!!
I am not seeing this morning session and my broadband s been broken since yesterday. Is it really turning from the good parts of the wicket? Crapinfo says no puffs of dust or anything from the Jaddu balls and the outside right handers off stump seems solid even now?

Those wickets at the end helped but it's crucial to dismiss them inside the first hour after lunch.

Smith does look like a batsman who wants to bat till end of the test match if he is allowed to.

You're right, I forgot about that game in SL where he faced almost 200 balls across the two innings or whatever it was.

I remember Gillespie playing a purely defensive innings like that when Australia won in India in 2004 that was super important.

SOK doesnt put the same revs on the ball as Jaddu. I don't know if he'll extract as much from this wicket. Don't know if he even needs to tho

That's basically him. Tight, limited technique, but very good at what he does. I feel like he almost always gets out when trying to show intent.

Another good session for Oz

Runs were nice but seeing quick and inconsistent turn was just as good

Smith is a hero. So is Jaddu. Whatte match. Onus on India to perform. Can't wait to see Cummins' first spell. Test cricket FTW.
