*Official* Australia in India 2010

I dont know about that. This wicket seems to be holding up better than the previous test. And they managed to chase down 200-odd runs there (albeit only just). I think anything around 200 again should be pretty easy for the Indians. The harder part though will be bowling Oz out for that amount or less.
Haha not even man. Even 100 runs is gonna take some doing. Remember we don't have VVS this test.. nor is our tail any good this series ( at least Ishant had good technique for a tailender). Our batting is very weak (despite us being almost 500).

And with that wicket Aussies defo on top now.

Every run India gets now is one less they need in the 4th dig.

Sachin going out was not good for India, whether they're after a result or draw.
Yeah, agree. We saw how close run an affair the first Test was, should have made it a lot more comfortable for ourselves by getting 50 odd more in the first innings (still wouldn't have been comfortable as things turned out, but you get the point).

Well, the match is right back in the balance, just like that. Would like a quick 30 odd from here but looks unlikely. A lead of 20-30 can be wiped out by Australia in a couple of overs.

Gotta love Test cricket BTW, how quickly things can change.

Does anyone know how to find out the highest 4th innings run chases for a particular ground on cricinfo?

Ponting bring on Hauritz FFS, we need some runs. :p Thank you.
Haha honestly that's the only way we were ever gonna get "quick runs" even if Sachin was still out there. Waaay too much reverse swing to be able to just simply hit out at will.

Many grounds in India have that type of record. Mohali - I think 220 was a record as well.

5th day Indian pitches are really hard to chase anything on. Mainly because the pitch doesn't just start to offer turn, it starts offering completely uneven bounce so you can play perfectly and still get out.
