*Official* Australia in England

Quite looking forward to the start of the Pakistan series. Would be good to see some proper competitive cricket.
One insult too many...

Anyways, shouldn't be panic stations for us. Slightly below par in batting and bowling but hopefully we'll be able to turn it around quickly.

Swanneh does it in typical under-stated manner.

MOTM? Broad for me. After a typical golden arm wicket he got a lot of pace and bounce out of this wicket.

2-0 up to England, and for once it's nice to see that it wasn't all down to the 'imports.' Vital roles played by Broad, Strauss and Collingwood. :)

Well done England!

In context speaks a bit about how Australia batted as well. Smith's innings, crucial it was, was on the slower side of things.

Yeah the win was a result of us restricting them to 239. IMO it was the B Road wot won it.

Mike Yardy and Gus Fraser share the best economy rate (3.54) of any England ODI bowlers in the last 25 years. (qual: 50 overs bowled)

He's a really awful bowler, btw, really rubbish, and I speak as a fan

Yeah sooner or later someone, Afridi perhaps, will get after him, hit him for 60 off seven overs say, and that'll be his lot. Would still prefer Blackwell or Patel in the 2nd spinner's role notwithstanding fitness 'issues.'
