Lords aside, he's not been that good really IMO.
Lee's problem has been more that he's been required to do the job of the other seam bowlers. Nobody's stats are going to stack up in those circumstances.

Err, Bell did edge an outswinger yesterday. I wouldn't say it was perfect, but it was a perfectly decent ball, just a little full. If Bell had played it more positively he would have been fine. The Pietersen one moved more than that, but both were outswingers.
Oh dear, seriously get those eyes tested. Watch what the ball does, not just see the edge and fill in the blanks in your head later on.

You may want to try being a bit less abusive. The balls did obviously swing outwards. The general opinion is clearly against you, indicating that it should be you getting your eyes checked, not us.

This is such a crucial phase of the series with every thing evenly poised.

Had Gilchrist taken that catch, it would have swung Australia's way. If Freddie and Jones carry on in what is possibly one of the most vital partnerships in years for the poms and has a lot of stake for them.

Kasper straying down leg WAY too much. I thought that bowling change was good, but Kasper needs to reward that captaincy. I think he may be bowling a touch too short as well.

My theory - one more wicket, Tait comes on for the tail. I reckon Kasper will get it next over.

And a majority of about what 2-3 is always right isn't it... That's why we have democracy, because most people are stupid enough that they give any politician a chance.

Have to say England is getting some very easy runs. Aussies not keeping it tight.
Jah.

And on the Pietersen ball, I think there was a bit of reverse. Started in, finished out.

Virtually impossible to tell (with the naked eye) what it did after it pitched because it hit the edge immediately after.

Well fortunately we don't have to do it with the naked eye, because we have slow motion replays. And it clearly moved away late.

Ponting letting it slide. 5 overs to the new ball, and he's clearly waiting for it. One more wicket before the new ball and Australia are right on top.
