Agreed Faaip.

And Warne`s LBWs. Shocking! Another one not even considered. It is so out though. Hitting leg and a bit of middle. C`mon...
Is that a joke? Hitting outside of leg at best, with Flintoff miles down the wicket. If umpires started giving those then batsmen would go on strike.

Late outswing? Pace? Hard to play? Credit to the bowler?
Outswing? It swung in fractionally and that was it - don't tell me a ball pitching 1 yard in front of the batsman that moves in a few millimetres is a good delivery.

It didn't swing in... it swung away very late, Pietersen played the line of it and was late on the ball, and hence got an edge. Certainly nothing wrong with the shot, unless you suggest he starts leaving balls which are yorker length and that close to the stumps.

Anyone see the guy with the DD of 'Freddie' on the shirts? He was worthy of the double D status. :D

I guess the commentators should go and get their eyes tested too, right? And the commentators in the Australian SBS studio too? And, for that matter, the cricinfo guy?

64.1 Lee to Pietersen, OUT: full and on the off, just a hint of away
movement, Pietersen pokes at it without moving his feet, the ball
kisses the edge and lands safely in Gilchrist's gloves. That is a
big wicket

It's perfectly obvious if you watch the replay.

This is the site that said Bell edged a perfect outswinger yesterday.

Err, Bell did edge an outswinger yesterday. I wouldn't say it was perfect, but it was a perfectly decent ball, just a little full. If Bell had played it more positively he would have been fine. The Pietersen one moved more than that, but both were outswingers.

I don't know what you've been watching, but I'd say his good bowling has been much more the exception rather than the norm.

Lords aside, he's not been that good really IMO.
well thats your opinion well for me he has bowled pretty well with the exception of the 1st innings at edgbagston & yesterday.....
