Jeez, that was an average shot in the context of the match.
It really was - but in the context of the match, he certainly wasn't alone.

Well, the series is still alive - and any Australian supporter has to be very afraid of what's going to happen when McGrath and Warne retire.

A couple of positives, Warne did really well, and Lee struck back hard after being dissed so hard overnight.

What a game for Flintoff though.... Up to this point, I didn't really feel like he'd arrived this tour. Now, he certainly has, and he's scared the bejesus out of us.

Our bats really need to play the English bowlers with a lot more respect and caution. It's not as if we have to switch to full-on defensive play, but we have been very careless (and lazy) so far at crucial times.

I'll say it again - with the exception of Flintoff, Eng's bowling has been ordinary, the pitch is fine, and our batting has been pathetic.

Heh, cut Bob some slack there. It's porbably the first time since his days that English have looked so competitive.

I actually kind of like Willis, even if he sounds a bit like an old queen with a mouthful of xanax at times.

Good call from Bowden there.

Michael Holding is excluded for me but the rest are terrible. Can't belive this is all we are going to be able to watch next year the worst decision by the ECB ever to hand the rights over to Sky.

you can say that again social i cant believe Australia's batting is wilting so stupidly.
You dont mind losing if you give it your best shot, but for virtually the whole of this tour the Aus batsmen have shirked hard work.

Given the state of this pitch and the England bowling (Flintoff aside), the Ashes should be all but over tomorrow.

Instead, it's likely to be 1-1 with all the momentum to England and no McGrath (not to mention our d**k-head captain will probably keep giving Eng the advantage at the toss).
