The rot has started. will be interesting if australia ask for the extra half hour after 6 for the result tonight. Does anyone know if that can still be taken with all the new icc rules relating to overtime?

This may sound strange but I think that may be game over. Trescothick is last left hander until 10 now. Warnie and righthanders = oh dear for England fans.

A masterclass in spin here. Sod not playing his reputation or trash like that, he's good enough to earn any kind of reputation.

I hate him. :p

Forecasters Warning

UK Weather Watch

Primary Areas Affected: Southwest England, Central & Southern Wales, Midlands, Central-Southern England, Southeast England & East Anglia.

Secondary Areas Affected: Central & Southern Ireland, North Wales, Southern Northern England.

Heavy Precipitation

The change to more unsettled conditions has now arrived across Southern parts of the UK as frontal system's push in from the West. Showers or more persistent outbreaks of rain will push across many Central and Southern areas of England, Wales and Ireland during the course of Saturday afternoon. Some moderate to heavy rain is expected, especially in association with any showers and possible thunderstorm activity.

A more substantial and well organised rain area will push into Southwest England during the latter stages of Saturday evening and into the overnight period, this will bring some extensive amounts of prolonged and heavy rain. Some embedded thunderstorm activity is also possible.

Rainfall totals of between 20mm and 30mm are generally expected but some locations may well reach 40mm to 50mm by the end of Sunday, especially in association with any convective/thundery weather. Travelling conditions will be hazardous, especially driving with excessive amounts of surface water.

All I can say is "get a bloody move on then".

Not really, McGrath and right handers (especially if it ever gets to the second new ball) and that area where it bounces somewhat variably are the oh dear. The two lefties couldn't play Warne anyway.

And until then, perspiration for the nation.

Glad I'm well over on the other side of the world.

Figured this would happen, I miss the decent England batting because of the horse racing and I turn back to see 3 batsmen who like to leave straight balls hit their pads.
