As a serious question, since I've not been following Australian domestic cricket at all, who were your other options? I'm assuming S Marsh is considered finished at test level now?

Hilton Cartwright is in the squad, Travis Head would be the player to come into.the squad IMO. Kurt Patterson and Cam Bancroft made the A squad that got cancelled but it shows the selectors are interested in them.

This isn't a surprise after the way they played against us last year. Yes the pitches are helping them but that is their advantage and they are exploiting it. Good to see an up and coming side competing with teams they used to get thrashed by and even beating them in some cases.

How do you take off for a suicidal quick single when you haven't offered a shot and will have to go back on strike anyway? Was ****ing hilarious. Summed him up so well.

Mark Waugh on the radio this morning talking cricket, selections etc but of course his first priority was to talk to the hosts about how his race horses went over the weekend. Which summed him up pretty well tbh.
