What a year Lyon has had so far. And in conditions here he's been pasted in the last. Glad SOK got a couple of piles. Not easy coming into a tst match completely cold.
Exactly. Yet some were calling for Nevill to do the same despite coming in even colder.

So who is Man of the Match. I'm going for Lyon but they always seem to favour Batsmen so it will probably be Warner :(

Well done to Australia for the strong comeback. This suggests a strong 3-1 showing in India next time around.

Face value result aside, I'm actually pretty pleased with the way we've played in this series. Have unquestionably improved miles and miles in tough conditions/situations since last year.

Lyon was obviously fantastic but Warner was perhaps even more pivotal. Need runs on the board.

Lyon took 65% of Australia's wickets, Warner scored like 25% of Australia's runs. If you take Warner out Aus probably make a much lower first innings score, but if you take Lyon out Bangers could have made 400+ in both innings.

Lyon had a much bigger impact

It's Lyon. Bowled all the overs and took all the wickets. You're being contrary here.

Sure, but Warner was more pivotal. Could have won with other spinners (with more difficulty, of course), couldn't without Warner.
Couldn't without Handscombe either, doesn't make him MotM. Lyon bowled ten times better than everyone else and won them the game. Conditions suited to some extent, but he still considerably outbowled everyone. You've still got to take the wickets.
