More or less on the basis of their experience, and anyways Bailey is slotted to bat at 7 so he won't be able to have much of an impact on the game batting that low imo.

Hughes temprement has also impressed me a lot today, the way Ronchi is going at the other end it would have been easy for him also to throw his bat at everything, but he was sensible enough to just play second fiddle and give as much strike as possible to Ronchi, Hughes showing tremendous temprament for a 19 year old.

Terrible start.
Run-outs in the first 20 overs are terrible..they shouldnt happen. Looks as though Marshall played a **** shot, no idea why he keeps getting into NZ and NZ A teams...Greg Hay should have his spot. Hopefully he will next game.

Irfan and Praveen are getting a lot out of the swinging conditions this morning. They've bowled straight, got some stifling bounce and beat bat more than a few times. There were several balls going around the batsmen, missing barely. A direct hit from Badrinath, a slight outswinger by Praveen and a straight one by Irfan flicked by Marshall got these wickets.
