So frustrating to see India's batting lineup faltering time and again. But good to see at least one guy standing up. Last match it was Rohit and this match it was Kohli. Still the lack of consistency is really irritating.

Ask Ashwin to open batting when the ball is swinging FFS.

No it wasn't. It was alive, but it was not in the balance. India never got higher than like $1.22 to win.
I don't know, at 3/8 they were definitely in with a shout, however briefly. But yeah, in T20s with only 4 overs per bowler you always back batting sides these days if the target is so small.

Haha, that's my point. "in with a shout" isn't the same as "in the balance".

Nehra is so good now. It's crazy. We were so concerned about how bad Yadav and Bhuvi were bowling, and with Shami's injury and Ishant being Ishant...and then out of nowhere Nehra and Bumrah have showed up and we suddenly have an extremely potent T20 bowling attack. Add in Yuvi and Pandya and the T20 side looks so good.

Won't blame the batting. It was exceptional bowling.

In T20, I feel that one bowler (the best in the game) should bowl an extra over (5th over) just to make the format even more interesting. Bangladesh did a lot better than what Pakistan have done against India. Don't forget India are the world's best T20 side, so I'm confident enough Bangladesh can match and beat the other major sides such as Sri Lanka, Australia, New Zealand etc. We got the bowling attack. Batting has a lot of question marks, but with Tamim coming back – the batting will be much easier. But even then, I still don't think Bangladesh can chase anything over 160 against the major sides 8.5/10. Bangladesh's best bet is to bat first: they have the bowling attack to pressure the opposition. Their batting line-up in T20 is actually wrong. Ideally, it should be of the following order: Tamim, Sarker, Mushfiqur, Mahmudullah, Shakib, Shabbir...I know Shabbir bats at three, and there's nothing wrong with that, but because Bangladesh barely has any fire-power – it's best if Shabbir bats towards the end and smack some blows.

In regards to that India v Pakistan match last night, had Pakistan posted over 110, they would've been in a real shout to win that game – they have a solid bowling attack especially in pace. Their batting order was all wrong and line-up was all wrong.

They can do whatever they want with the others but these players should surely not move from these positions for T20s at least...

I would consider opening with Sarfraz as he has the ability to get the scoreboard ticking with singles and doubles without taking risks early on and he shouldn't have any issues facing the medium pacers in this tournament.

This is the ideal batting line up. Not a big fan of Sharjeel but if you have picked him based on his form, might as well give him a few games just in case he carries it forward.
