I disagree. In this bowler friendly era, plus India having an attack that can take 20 wickets with four bowlers, plus Indian lineup struggling, four bowlers is clearly superior.
You are right but it wouldn't make any difference here because the six batsmen that we do play are just not fit for purpose. An extra one isn't going to make much of a difference, especially when it would be at the expense of someone like Thakur who managed to score runs.

I think you keep trying until you find someone. It's a big country, surely someone can do the job.

Lol **** off Bairstow, blaming the sight screen. You get beaten on the inside edge for a living.

Jadeja's bowling just not a wicket-taking option in these conditions. We're really just playing the 4 bowlers and one guy who you hope can keep things relatively tight.

If we have a 6th batsman who is averaging 40, sure. We don't. The only good that can happen is lets say we had SKY here for Jaddu and Ashwin for Shardul, maybe we wud ve figured out SKY is better than Rahane and dropped Rahane next game. But our bowlers need the rest and ASh and Jaddu need each other to be at their best.

But you have recognized batsmen in your squad - if you don't think they could do the job, you shouldn't bring them. Time to give a few of them a good run. This is the only way you'll find out.

Sure. We can drop our #3 and 5 and bring them in by all means. But we still need 5 bowlers coz our bowlers are not gonna be fit enough to do the long spells.

Who isn't? After about 20 overs, Ashwin would bowl at one end, you rotate the others one at a time. I don't think you are at risk of particular over bowling, especially if you're rotating the three bowlers throughout a series.

You are assuming we wont bowl more than 90 overs. We will and that is where it matters.

Every time I tune in at the moment, Warnie is on commentary and he's always repeating his own approach that nothing happened til he let go of the ball and that he liked to dictate terms as a bowler rather than let the batsman dictate.

Are they just playing the same bit of commentary from him on a loop?

You missed "if it seams, it spins" by a few seconds.

Can India keep the lead to below 50? If so, game even. Any lead above 100 and it's a big hole with the crap batting lineup India have.
