The Cricinfo comments are dire comparing Lyon to Warne and even Murali.

I wish Warne could bowl against this lot of Indian Batsmen. I guess Satner is better than Warne too.

A great session for India, it went from looking like an Aussie win to now looking like a draw or even a chance of an Indian win if they have a crack. at it.

Frustrating session. Fair effort for these two to dig in when it's not their natural game. But yeah, man does this pitch die when you can't get good movement.

Getting desperate when they are resorting to giving Marnus a bowl.

Indian win is out of question now.

These two need to be there for at least another 10-15 overs

At least Nathan bowls with a straight arm and probably without steroids or "pitch and weather information" deals

I mean realistically Jadeja, Reddy and Washington between them have more than enough defensive nous to see out the rest of the day between them when the pitch is this lifeless.

I don't really have any complaints about how Aus have gone about their work today - a little more luck vs Jaiswal and who knows - but this is what tends to happen at the MCG. It doesn't break up, it just dies.

lol, c'mon man
It's highly unlikely but not impossible, India would need to go into T20 mode though which won't be easy to do in the last session of a test match.

I think India would be pretty happy to just settle for a draw anyway considering they have been behind for most of this match.

so Sydney, is there a chance for result there or just 1-1 draw?

IMO should have declared yesterday with a lead in the high 200s. Would have induced some more brain freezes from the Indian batsmen trying to go for it.

Honestly an India win is imo still more likely than an Australia win at this stage, no way I can see Australia getting even close to taking 7 wickets

However with that being said a draw is still vastly more likely than anything else.
