Don’t mind this given how much better Australia have been. Gives india a fantastic shot at retaining the trophy, it would be for over a decade.

Tf are you on about? You have one good bowler on his last legs with a two day turnaround between games.

Ah, retaining. Might have been a chance this game two hours ago but they're not chasing this.

Lyon did all of that with a smile on his face. Indian Cricket Team seemed quite hostile when he walked out and kept it up during the beginning of the Boland partnership.

I enjoyed every minute watching that.

Also lollll at Rohit, Kohli and Pant flubbing all 3 DRS reviews during that partnership. It did look like Boland gloved one of Akash there too but they had no reviews left.

There's no way you'd declare with the series at 1-1 and the opposition needing to bat at 3.5 rpo. Better to lock up the draw and push for the win, with the knowledge that you've got game 5 as a fall back
Very good point, but given that the Sydney Test is rained out 100% of the time (awful climate for an awful city), a draw here essentially guarantees a drawn series

Also the pitch is incredibly docile once it gets old, so u cant fault Aus. tactics. their batters threw it all way and have no defensive game whatsoever. T20 has messed with peoples heads and modern day batters dont know defense.

Hopefully these two can last another 10-15 overs tomorrow.

I mean it's still a bit early to say but there isn't meant to be any rain for the first four days of Sydney.

Nah it wasn’t gloved. It hit the hips.

5th Test starts on the 3rd so they will have 4-5 days off from bowling. This hasn't been a one man show today for once, the others are finally hitting their straps. But yeah it will still be a big ask, for both teams bowlers

Based on the way he was at the end of the day I'd be surprised if Bumrah can move tomorrow. Bloke bowled 24 overs today.

Whatever it takes!!!
Amazing day.. Boland, Lyon, Cummins, Labu were all immense for Australia. The captaincy by Rohit once that partnership between Labu and Cummins got past 30 was back to his old self. Probably shows again how he relies on the plan A from the backroom and has literally nothing after that. Anyways, tomorrow could be series defining and I hope the side fights and shows they have more to them than just throwing the first punch and plan A. I have had the 2020-21 series vibes from yesterday, I hope it continues.

Another great day of test cricket, a draw looks the most likely result now unless India collapse tomorrow, who knows though, this test is unpredictable.
