He's not played 50 career balls yet mate.I tell you, this kid may not have Pietersen's strengths as a batsmen, but he's got a great inner calm, knows his game, is really focussed out there.
Mentally, he is exactly what you want to be as a young, attacking batsmen. Clear head, like Sehwag.
AKA young guys making a mockery of a world that deserves to be mocked.I hope he does
Young guys with Chutzpah is exactly what this world needs today
Waiting for HB to come on and say Kohli definitely did not instiigate this and the 19yo on dayboo was definitely at fault after HB lip read what Kohli saidKohli's fault absolutely trying to intimidate him. He really should spend some time in the southwest, Konstas was never going to move.
You don't play this assuredly, unless you have something going right between the ears. He's not played 50 career balls yet mate.
Konstas is to Ali as Bumrah is to Sonny ListonWow, now I know what it must've felt like to be a white American in the 60's watching Muhammad Ali do things that nobody else in the world could do and hating every minute of it.
It put Bumrah off his length. Made him bowl full, then wide, and then a couple of slower balls too. It’s 100% worked. May not be a sustainable approach but can’t deny this is exactly what he was going for. This approach has worked against Bumrah quite well till now. All the “proper cricket” wasn’t doing ****
Don't get me wrong, this is the point of assertive batting, move the field, get the bowler off his lengths, effect the confidence. That's what aggressive batting does and is supposed to do.Haha will the whingers stop yet? This is great.
Isn't he a Cranbrook kid?Kohli's fault absolutely trying to intimidate him. He really should spend some time in the southwest, Konstas was never going to move.
Two successful though, right?Five or six shots.
Maybe, we may all be getting ahead of ourselves thoughYou don't play this assuredly, unless you have something going right between the ears.
If he stays like this mentally, he will be a good player. Maybe not in tests, but in other formats he will make a name for himself
Anything other than test doesn't matter.Maybe not in tests, but in other formats he will make a name for himself
Chutzpah for sure but it needs to straddle outrageous confidence AND playing the odds, for any long term chance of success.I hope he does
Young guys with Chutzpah is exactly what this world needs today
Three or four. Two successful though, right?
