Normally yes, but I don't think it was the case here in Rahul's dismissal. You really think 3rd umpire asked for snicko within 5 seconds after being shown one half of a frame?
I just watched it again and yes this is exactly what happened. His exact words were "can't see anything from there, can you go to snicko please".

well, in that case its the 3rd umpire who is hasty and reckless and should have been given a dressing down. That is no way for a 3rd umpire to arrive at a decision. It was faster than sleepy head Bucknor decision on-field.

But Ganguly has also been responsible for the absolute halt on the A program. He was the one who insisted on Dravid taking India reigns and basically let the A program go to the dumps.

And no I still think it is the main reason as quite a few batsmen have actually regressed from that period. I mean the idiotic takes of folks like sunilz still unwilling to accept the basic fact that Rohit is tailender level captain should tell you these problems go deeper than just statistics.
Yeah I can't take this seriously lol. You've been trying to find all sorts of reasons for Kohli being shite with the bat for years. First it was bad luck with umpiring decisions, then it was the mental trauma of rahane running him out at Adelaide (lol) and now it's Ganguly . He just sucks now bro accept it. He's a mental weakling if he lets these things affect his batting to this extent.

A tours getting cancelled means ****all too when the underperformers are all incumbents.

Everyone agrees that Jaiswal is clearly out and it had absolutely no bearing on the result of the game
Not so sure about that, I just heard on the news the Indian team is blowing up saying he shouldn't have been given out, which is ****ing bizarre and also incredible blame shifting (tbf a typically India-away-from-home trait). They lost 7/30 odd, of which he was but one.

Well yeah that's what I meant when I said that everyone agreed that the process there was poor. But that's a far cry from some conspiracy by the home broadcasters to manipulate the DRS system to Australia's benefit, which is what you claimed was happening.

As long as the correct decision is arrived at, who gives a ****? In Jaiswal's case, him not being given out would have been a travesty. Fortunately, common sense prevailed, despite what Sunil Havaskar thinks.

Unless you're trying to paper over your own team's deficiencies of course.

Would be hilarious if true. Not only was he clearly out, he was clearly out lbw earlier too but got away with it. India lost despite being helped by the umpires. If they're actually whinging that's peak comedy

Pretty much everyone agreed ages back that the way the Rahul dismissal was done in Perth wasn't right, I don't see what the point of constantly dragging it out is. It's a different game, with a different third umpire, dealing with a different set of circumstances.
Sounds like we should make up for bad one process by making another bad one kinda thing here

I’m not sure. Even Sharma said he hit it

Whined about technology being against them though

it was a Conspiracy, until I found the receipts ( in this case based on your confirmation that 3rd umpire did ask for Snicko immediately after watching half a frame).

Rohit said in the presser he thought Jaiswal hit it. Stop spreading lies.

Love the typo here. "Havas" in Hindi means lusty/horny. Sunil Havaskar has a great ring to it
