Did they just blame Adelaide on the pink ball & fail to realise that most of the time in Aus at the moment, you need to be really patient early? How is Pant supposed to succeed if he has to keep coming in so early?
They batted exactly like this in the second dig in Adelaide too despite the ball not actually doing an enormous amount. Just so easily baited into driving off the front foot for some reason

He can't help himself! It's like a tic, chasing at those wide deliveries. Don't know how you train yourself out of it tbh. Someone needs to grow a pair and have the conversation with him.

I'm going to say the Virat driving dismissal is more iconic than his actual limp armed drives

Wouldn’t be surprised at all if the Kohli and Smith centuries in this series turn out to be last hurrahs rather than start of their resurgence as neither looks good

Yeah I thought people way exaggerated the conditions in Adelaide based on the result. Looked like a pretty good pitch to me (and easier than last summer when Head just did his usual thing while everyone else struggled).

Virat learned many lessons from Schumacher on how to downhill ski with the right helmet

Jaiswal is so much better than what he's put forward in the last two tests. Just needs to survive the first 10 balls of his innings. Keeps doing dumb **** in the first over.

If Virat gets a home farewell it'll be even more selfish than the Southee long (hop) goodbye

Odds right now-

Australia - 3.25
Draw 1.36

I think it should be closer to even stevens given what we have seen from India thus far. They can be bowled out twice in 80/90 overs.

Yeah been betting Australia small, obviously can't go wild as at the mercy of the weather Gods, but this Indian batting line up is so brittle.

Even if rain saves them , at 3.25 you can probably trade your way out anyway.

Their has to be less stressful 1.36 shots than the draw in the sports betting world surely.
