Have these idiots heard of leaving the ball early and seeing off the new rock? Wtf is this approach?
Letting the engine room finally do some heavy lifting, it's pretty unselfish

But yeah Rahul is the only one of the top 3 who I think knows how to see out an over ironically.

Our great new batting hopes.. 2 unforced errors, 2 wickets down in 3 overs.
Surely Gill has had enough chances now to realise he isn't the long term answer? Jaiswal's just a kid but Gill has played, what, like 30 tests and averages 36? Don't get me wrong that would probably get him into the Aus top order comfortably too, but India isn't a country lacking options

Pathetic batting. Those were nothing deliveries.

I suppose these batters can't cope with the steep bounce generated by the tall Aus bowlers on this bouncy track. Need to leave balls on length alone.

This was expected tbh. Even with rain, an innings defeat is on the cards.

This team has a non-performing captain unsuitable to play red ball cricket. All the problems start there.

You have already lost a wicket and need to see off the new ball and there is no need to score any runs, just need to bat time and Gill plays that dumb shot so wide outside off. It's inexcusable.
