**Official** 3rd Test @Brisbane (Ewwwww), 14th-18th December

last time they brought james anderson and stuart broad, who arguably are their best bowling combination in history and who have bowled here on so many occasions, and, crucially, both of whom are reputed as intelligent bowlers, and they both still fell for the meme

i have no confidence that someone named brydon can do better
It was good for us it took Broad a while to realise bowling fuller and at the stumps was a good thing. His preference for a shorter length was so ingrained he'd sometimes relapse into it, The best example is what he did to Warner when he bowled fuller, he turned figures like 0-142 into making Davey his bunny.

At the start of series Steve Smith needed only 315 runs be the 4th Aussie to reach 10,000 runs.

Now 2 Tests later he still needs 296. Hopefully he knocks off half of them this Test

Looks like Australia’s premier fetid **** hole is doing its best to make the tourists feel at home with the sort of high humidity which leaves you walking around like you’ve just ridden a horse for nine hours.

Pretty sad really that apart from Head no Aussie bat has scored a hundred since the last Ashes.

Makes Carey's 98* vs NZ even better, especially when Cummins scored 32* at other end and couldn't be bothered to let Carey get the 2 extra runs. I still can't believe Cummins had 1 ball to block to end over and put Carey back on strike and he hits a 4 to win game

Or Carey gets out going for the hundred, Hazelwood immediately follows and Aus loses the game

When you have the opportunity to win a Test match, you win the Test match

Well at that stage Australia needed only 2 runs to win and still had Cummins, Lyon and Hazlewood to bat if Carey got out. From memory Cummins said afterwards he didn't realise Carey was on 98 which I found very strange

And Jadeja back. So that's 3 different spinners in 3 tests...weird

First time Jadeja has ever been picked outside Sydney or Melbourne

Why do the Queenslanders on here just cop this?

Unless they agree they should have a crack back imo

Not surprised Rohit chose to bowl first in these conditions, you got the feeling Cummins would have done the same thing if he had won the toss.
