seriously .. 5 wickets.. on the first day..at the WACA..against Australia... incredible

anyways the pitch is VERY bouncy.. i like it... except it could be dangeorus for our bowlers too!!

but this match is so so similar to this one...

for ppl who cbs.. Aus were bowled out for 258 ... Ntini killed us with short balls...

then we came out to bowl they were 0/83 :nails: bowled em all out for 296... then yea.. batted well in the 2nd dig and the rudolph bore

Ta. Back to the ole WACA aye, I like I like.
Haha, not really to be honest. This pitch has countless green patches, whereas the old WACA was mainly yellow. But the pace and bounce is good, yeah. :)

OMG!

Thats ridiculous!

And he has played a fair few innings too - what is with him?!

I have not seem him bat for long periods in tests so I do not know much about him, but what is it about him that makes him such a bat?

Or is it just that teams have not worked him out yet?
It's just that, no one can get him out. Have Shoaib chuck a 100 mph ball right at his stumps, and he still won't get out.

It's kind of interesting as an outsider to see the attitudes of some of the Aussies heat up :)
Will be interesting to see what the Ashes threads will become if England make a comeback.

Long way to go though.....

If England win this test, they are winning this series or atleast drawing it.

Anyway 3 grand up

Tbh, in bowling they did. But I feel 1st test of last year being repeated here right now, and England will collapse.
They outplayed Australia yes, but I wouldn't go as far as to say they dominated them.

Lee getting slammed here.

Hussey's just incredible - they guy has no weakness and the thing that sets him apart is exceptional mental temperament as well as the ability to change gears effortlessly and hit to all parts of the ground at will.b

Haha Lee, owning me.

EDIT: Still reckon he`ll come good, mind.
Having a great day of predictions eh Nath? :p

I'm agreeing with ya on Lee though. There's a 5-fer for him here.

I've a feeling the Ashes could be changing hands here. Obviously I hope not, but I fear it could be a repeat of last tour.
England are just being ****ey. We know we can win 3 out of 3 without even picking our best side. Unfortunately we have now picked Monty. Damn shame that, it shows weakness if you ask me. Embarrassingly he has taken a few but I hoping he fails so we can stick Ash straight back in. I'm also glad that Geraint Jones is still in the side. What a show of inner strength to continuously pick easily the worst keeper in world cricket. Even better he is a rubbish batsman. In his last innings he did at least not prolong the agony by bravely getting a Goldy. Chris Read is much better at keeping and averages over 40 in first class cricket with the bat. Why would you pick someone like that. It might show desperation. Or could it be that Duncan Fletcher would be too embarrassed. We will lose the Ashes and deserve to.

Worst opening over by Lee (I mean by Lee not in all-time).

Credit must go when it is due and this time it must go to Harmison. I had the feeling he would eventually come good and it is good to see him show some form.
