Replay shows it was the perfect decision and I think Dar is one of the best umpires out there.
Watch him deny Warne a load of plumb one's later.

He doesn't understand spin bowling but is OK giving a medium pacer like Panesar LBW's.

Hopefully Warne will operate from Rudi's end though so he had a chance.

I wouldn`t read heaps into this Harmison performance tbh. He`s been good, definately, but this pitch is perfect for him. Reminds me of a Test against Pakistan, at OT maybe? Don`t think he`ll be great on other pitches.

McGrath wasn`t out. Take that Greigy you pro-English lamerrrrrr.

EDIT: Grieg was bagging out McGrath, "let the picture tell the story", and he wasn`t out. Mildly satisfying. :p

How's the pitch for those watching it on TV, low and slow or conducive to runs ??
Awesome for bowling. Bounce and pace with a little movement.

Fair point here, match could really be another one of test where Harmo has gotten a pitch to his liking and has bowled excellently.

Norwood's on Fire
Well I slept through the first session, watched the second and cricinfoed the third, great great stuff so far. Better do some work before we start batting. They must be onto me doing nothing though, seems as I keep jumping out my chair and pumping my fists. Come on England.

Great work from Monty and Harmison.

Now, its upto the batsmen....

Ideally reckon they need to bat 2 - 2 1/2 days and get about 600 on the board.

(I so want England to win this!)

OMG!

Thats ridiculous!

And he has played a fair few innings too - what is with him?!

I have not seem him bat for long periods in tests so I do not know much about him, but what is it about him that makes him such a bat?

Or is it just that teams have not worked him out yet?
