Jos or Moeen needs a ton I think. Top order put us in another hole, not sure what options we have though. Hales would be a real statement of new ethos but I would be surprised if he worked out in tests

Healy diagnosing Cook as having crepitus in his bones. My understanding that's actually where the bone dies, which would be an unusual condition for someone healthy and robust enough to play international cricket.

Even taking into account he is a) a wicket keeper and b)Australian Healy is incredibly dense.

Plus I'd be loathe to drop Lyth after four tests, or Ballance based on his last few. We probably need to stick with these guys if we're going to get anwhere.
Our number four is another matter, even if meant Root moving up a place and bringing in a newcomer at 5.

Ballance has a terrible technique and it's a mystery how he has been able to score runs at fc level let alone tests

Lucky to get this test and will be a pub quiz question on a few years IMO
