How is Handscomb on 35 not out ? He looks like he only picked up a bat for the first time this week.
That thing he does just before he gets himself set to face - turning the bat around so the face is towards point - it's ****ing weird. Looks like he's about to attempt a flop-shot out of a greenside bunker.

Naturally warm to such players but from the little I've seen Handscomb just doesn't look convincing the way he plays.

Handscomb really needs to do something to keep his spot, just looks really vulnerable when bowlers pitch it full.

McGrath would have worked him over because he could adjust his length faster than other bowlers. I think length is more important bowling to Handscomb than anything else. Bowl what would be a shorter a half-volley length to a regular batsman and you'll give him a lot of trouble.
