CA were so incompetent they couldn't identify that Harris wasn't a batting all rounder until he was old and knee ****ed.

They thought Smith was a spin bowler and Warner is only still playing because he met his wife.

CA was progressively taken over by suits in the late 90s, its empire eroded and guys like Anderson were able to have careers winning ashes series at home.

This is where teams struggle away from home. Lower order batsmen for home teams generally seem to chip in with valuable runs and visiting sides just can't close the deal. Whereas England just folded after going 5 or 6 down in Brisbane in the 2nd innings. If they could have lasted another session and set around 250, that could have been a completely different match.
