I can't believe I ate the whole thing
I am no means a fan of dropping a spinner after 1 test because we're never going to build a test spinners skill or confidence that way.
I'm also not a fan of giving a past it bowler another run just as a farewell when he wouldn't otherwise be selected on merit.
at the same time, **** yeah wags, will young and o'rourke. I actually kind of wanted them all to play tbh and it's happened.

Hmmm. There was a comment on the Cricinfo commentary which now appears to have been removed from one "G Ghahraman" saying "I hope they can nick one off early and make good use of the Green surface."
EDIT: For those not attuned to NZ domestic politics, Golriz Ghahraman was a Green MP who was recently arrested for multiple counts of shoplifting from upmarket fashion stores.

no exactly my point you cant just play a spinner every so often they need consistent game time at test level to get their rythym.
