I stopped watching for about a week and they got through about 8 overs. I guess missing hardly any cricket is…the good part of slow overrates?

I wondered what you'd complain about given the scoring rate.I stopped watching for about a week and they got through about 8 overs. I guess missing hardly any cricket is…the good part of slow overrates?
Did you actually wonder or was there just one obviously good thing and one obviously bad thingI wondered what you'd complain about given the scoring rate.
Oh wait that's a good oneI bet Jake Gibson wouldn't expect to be mentioned in a Proteas v Blackcaps thread. But ....
Why has he changed his name to de Swardt and pretending to be a South African?
Well most Plunket Shield attacks are already a quarter South African so..Did South Africa deliberately pick an attack of what they imagined NZ bowlers to be?
Yeah but I always assumed the South African quarter would be angry and somewhat paceyWell most Plunket Shield attacks are already a quarter South African so..
What's everyone's problem with Big Gus?De Swardt: Angus McKenzie (slow)
Not enough people of colour playing in NZ for South African expats to really find that anger.Yeah but I always assumed the South African quarter would be angry and somewhat pacey
Yeah completely agree, they've made it difficult and have only been let down by catching.de Swardt gives hope to Danru Ferns of a test cameo.
In saying that I don't want to rip into these guys for putting country over franchise. They've come out with a plan to bowl dry and they're doing very well. Should have had KW and 150/3 would be very spicy.
Can't help comparing his record to Tickner's myself.SA bowler NZ domestic equivalents:
Paterson: Jesse Ryder, maybe a bit of Kieran Noema Barnett
Olivier: Michael Rae (grips ball hard, jerky action)
Moreki: struggled with this one but have arbitrarily decided it's James Baker
De Swardt: Angus McKenzie (slow)
Any better matches?
