Annoying little drizzly delay to this crucial India-Pakistan game, but it sounds like it'll be starting soon and won't have any overs lost. :)

EDIT: Scratch that - it's raining again.

EDIT 2: Now it's stopped again, but we're down to 18 overs a side.

West Indies will do well to make it to 100 the way this is going.

EDIT: They’re struggling to get 60.

Barbados were passive af. Australia (King in particular) bowled really nicely but why on earth were they so defensive?

Expected Dottin to go after it a bit, but she didn't. Once Matthews went it looked like their plan was to somehow bat out the 20 overs.

Meanwhile, South Africa are making a good fist of this chase against England!

EDIT: Maybe not.

fizzler in the end. began when SA let them off the ropes at 90/5. they did all the hard work in both innings.

how good are brunt's celebrations btw? ****ing love it. she, capsey's black eyed run scoring and sciver make england moderately tolerable.

Didn't watch the game but it looks like a poor batting performance from NZ based on the scorecard. Tahuhu seems to have made it look a bit better than it was.

Absolutely, but I'm encouraged to see that they can still win comfortably despite doing multiple things wrong - a refreshing change from recent ICC tournaments.

So now I'm assuming the NZ-England game will decide who gets to lose to Australia in the semi-final. We'll need to improve a lot from this, but hopefully we can do that and pull off a bit of an upset over the hosts in a few days' time. Realistically though, we'll be the fourth best team in the semis on paper.
