Carney and Dobson for orgin

Were so stuffed, but Carney for me would be the 2nd best 5/8 in the comp. Mind there not many great 5/8 running around.
Carney possibly a chance, Dobson i doubt it, he's only played three first grade games and to be fair only stood out in one, he's going to be an excellent player but not yet. Carney on the other hand has been outstanding for some time, finally people are taking notice of him, he deserves the praise he's been getting today, not just because of his performance last night but since the start of 2006 he's gradually stepped up to become a premier playmaker in the competition.

Damn Raiders, can't stand them. Didn't get to see much of the game actually due to the rugby trial, was disappointed.

Mark O'Meley showed how high his IQ levels are when he couldn't work out what Scott Prince meant by "What comes around goes around"

I always figured he was lacking a bit upstairs.

as further evidence that O'Meley is indeed lacking in the IQ department; I've heard news today that he's signed with the Sydney Roosters.

was more a comment just aimed at Nutley and Beattie, as well as Fitzgibbon who is playing more and more like a 40 year old by the week...

O'Meley hasn't signed with the Roosters, the fellas on 2SM were talking to some roosters top knob around the time all the reports were coming out about it yesterday and he denied it and said they hadn't signed O'Meley. Don't know how much to read into that though

imo he's signed they are just waiting to announce it or are sorting out the last details, seems a foregone conclusion he'll be playing for them in 08.

Makes you question the Roosters recruitment policy, surely if your going to spend that sort of money (well reported to be spent on O'Meley) your better of spending it one a play maker. Its kind of like they sign who ever on the market regardless where they play. I know we were interested in him for a while, but he was asking too much and we need a back rower not front rower.

the reason the roosters wont buy a half is because they believe the ones they have will do the job in the future, i guess with Pearce, Soward, Lewis and Aubusson they potentially have two very good players, which two are the right ones remains to be seen...
