Why do you think the bowling is an issue? I thought Starc was fine tbh
Nothing wrong with any of them. Love them all. I've always liked Starc too even when his position in the team has been previously questioned. I just think India like this group of bowlers and are comfortable facing them. So if we keep putting them out for them we'll get the same result. Need to change it up a bit but just for India.

All these people calling to drop an Aussie bowler or two? Here are the Australian bowling averages for last 12 months (all played 8 Tests since the Ashes).

Hazlewood - 40 wkts @ 14.82
Lyon - 36 wkts @ 22.00
Cummins - 33 wkts @ 22.18
Starc - 28 wkts @ 30.85

Obviously Starc has the worst record but it's still pretty good though. I especially wouldn't be dropping him from the pink ball Test

If they do rotate bowlers later int he series I wnder if they'll have th eballs to play JRich if fit before Boland? Would love to see it.

Anyway, this is the high point for India, as we all know. Soon they'll get their first XI players back and get rolled for 36.

Dropping bowlers because the team lost even though they bowled fine, have been gun recently and are pretty clearly the best bowlers available just drives me insane as a fan. I really do think there's an imbedded Australian arrogance that makes them think they're entitled to win all the time and that if they lose it can't be because the other side was better, it has to be because the selectors ****ed up or the players didn't care enough.

It mostly to the batting too - losing doesn't warrant the change - but at least the batting has been genuinely shite for a while so it is a bit different in that way.

India will probably win by a lot but they’re also guilty of making changes for the sake of it

Sundar and Reddy have only been picked because it’s in Australia

Well, we are. History teaches us as much.

Australia losing is an unnatural aberation, and when it happens it doesn't last long because nature always heals itself.

Winning this before lunch tomorrow with both these guys on 200+ not out is going to be something really special.

Rana going at sixes decides to have a word to the fella on 70 odd not out. You see fast bowlers do this all the time. They are a strange breed tstl.
I mean 350+ runs to win with half the side gone, a good enough reason to talk smack,Rana probably asking Head about some nice places in Perth to sightsee tomorrow..
