And here's a study which found out that you have to consume 25% more soy protein to match the same results as whey protein. Clearly, bioavailability and completeness of the protein source matter (which is why the protein quality index exists and is seen as reliable by virtually every health/dietary organisation out there). If your protein largely comes from high quality proteins then protein quality seems to matter less and this is how they track it in the studies where you get the 0.7g/lb figure from. But if you're getting your protein from worse sources then you're going to have to consume more of it, which is an uphill battle considering just hitting the minimum numbers is pretty difficult with a regular Indian diet.
Yes, whey protein in comparison with soy protein. As in, whey protein isolated as a source. If you'd actually read the first source I quoted you would understand why. Why protein and, believe it or not, potato protein are amongst the supposed "excellent protein" sources. If eaten in isolation.

But no one eats anything in isolation. Sure, if you're going to just eat one source of protein then you might theoretically have a point, but that's not how food works.

Potato, soy, and pea proteins can complement a broad range of plant proteins, leading to higher DIAAS when supplied in the form of protein mixtures

The latest edition of Joe Root ran over my dog from Player comparisons
Root has feasted on flatter tracks and weaker attacks in recent times. Was ok at best in Ind on flat pitches. Even in 2021 scored big in the 1st match and then failed on turners in the rest. Same with the recent Pak series. Was poor in Aus as well.

Slightly more consistent but has never been the best batsman in an away series in Aus/Eng like Kohli in Eng 2018, Smith in Ind 2017, Smith in Eng 2019.

IND declaring to give AUS 534 as the target to win, man what an innings by everyone (apart from Pant).
Nobody’s got within 100 of that in a chase. Lets play for a draw! (and if you have to get out let someone else take the wicket so Bumrah doesn’t get a 10’fer)
