All too easy.
Johnson getting runs usually follows with great performances with the ball. At least he got the runs today and the next test is only days away.
Australia's selection for next test is going to be one of the most exciting in recent history.
My team would be:
Warner
Rogers/S Marsh
Smith
Clarke
S Marsh/Voges
M Marsh
Neville
Johnson
Lyon
Starc
Hazlewood
If Starc doesn't prove fitness, do you go with Cummins or Siddle? I know Cummins will not have played a tour match but if he bowls well in the nets I'd be tempted to go with him as I feel Siddle has become a bit of a net bowler in the last couple of years. I have an awful feeling Starc will be ruled out of the rest of the series at the conclusion of this match.
I would have S Marsh play ahead of either Rogers or Voges. I will drop Watson and Haddin.

You don't give a guy one Test match and drop him because he didn't smash it. Voges is well and truly safe for a few more tests at least.
Yep. Sure The crime did not bat that well but it was such a good all round performance. How much a difference does Wood make? Just such a huge upgrade on Jordan or Woakes (Sorry Cab).

They have a hard on for Darsh. I wouldn't drop Voges. But I feel they will want both Marshes. If that's the case Voges is the least secure after Watto. Rogers is safe.

Well, on the plus side, the only way is up from now. Hopefully.
