Lol no your takes continue to be bad. Batting last wouldve been a stupid decision, and England will accelerate with Root, and especially once Stokes Buttler get in.
As if England would have had bat last for sure. How silly of you to just assume things.

Even if India had batted well, and had scored around 300-350 in 120 overs. Even then, England would have only needed to chase 60-100 runs in final innings in 30-40overs.

England can't chase a tiny total of 50-100 runs or bat out 30 odd overs !?! I can't believe how off your calculations are.

England one hundred percent should have enforced the follow on after batting 190 overs in the first innings. "Bat big bat once", what happpened to all that?! Why even bat into day 3 and then bat again on day 4. England conspiring to ensure India has every chance to save this match.

If India had batted half the day today, then it would make sense to not bowl again because bowlers would not have been so fresh. But England only bowled 20 overs today.

Agree with this but it shows they perhaps batted longer in first innings, to me. They could have declared and given themselves few overs more at India that way.

It annoys me the way the commentators (currently Nick Knight) just assume you can push Buttler up the order and guarantee a run a ball 50.

Root gone but he has taken the game away from India. That was an amazing knock, the dude is few steps ahead of the game. A good form does that I guess.
