I know just watching Clark really for the first time and he seems to have a very good technique for a number 10.

Gotta love Brett Lee aswell got some ferocious short stuff from English quicks last time already been rapped on the knuckles a couple of times this innings yet gets into lline next ball and always has a smile on his face (when batting).

Cook never looked like catching that
Haha, pretty rotten effort. Harmison can't take a trick.

Apart from the odd swing and a miss, Lee and Clark really looking the goods here. I'm assuming we'll want an hour at the English with little to gain (of course, I could be wrong about this), so they've probably got around 20 minutes or so left out there.

And as I say this, Clark is skittled by Freddy, which should make it certain that England get that hour tonight.

I don't think England can get much more demorilised TBH. Though they will probably bat a bit longer than they should for the same reasons Border in 89.

I was wrong England can get more demorilised a 50 partnership from Lee & Clark soul destroying

As I type Freddie bowls Clark Horay

Flintoff strikes and Clark is out.

Really apart from Flintoff and to some extent James Anderson, England have been pathetic - Australia nearly have 600 up and saying otherwise is just low standard excuse making.

I think you have to give some credit to Pointing & Hussey

True but some of the bowling was real dire.

You can't just say that the batting was very good and England were outplayed in the 1st innings and pass that off as acceptable.

Hoggard has been clearly Englands second best bowler rather than Anderson

Fair enough from the action I have seen Anderson did look ok on occassions but yeah Hoggard has bowled well.

I just realised there's still 28 overs to be bowled tonight, so definitely time for Lee to cash in on a fifty (and Australia to exceed 600) if McGrath can survive out there with him.

True, but they are still massively under done. The bowling has been pretty average, but you have to give credit to the fact that, aprat form the bal that got Langer, nearly every 4 ball has been absolutely smashed.
