It would be a real shame if Anderson is injured. He's bowled as well this innings as he ever has in Australia. Good conditions for him obvs, but he's used all the tools so well.

Good conditions?

If the conditions were so good for accurate swing/seam bowlers why didn't Hazletoilet run through England on day one?

I think Jimmy and Broady have shown tremendous discipline and have been well supported by Root's captaincy and field placings.

Because he's undercooked obviously. Haze is better than Jimmy or Broad usually on any day, his career shows it.

If Jimmy is out Woakes needs to step up massively.

This test has been tremendous, Broad and Jimmy have been outstanding as has root.

Bit of jag back off the surface. Anderson not bowling so concerning though. No problem with Broad not bowling, overbowling him a real mistake and we have to trust Ball/Woakes.

They're not English conditions, but they are the least unfavourable conditions for Jimmy he has probably bowled on in Australia dopey pommies.

But conditions or no, he has bowled better here than just about any time on his previous tours.

The CricketWeb site narrative is you have to be a tall Australian mouth breather to be considered a good bowler.

If the 2nd/3rd change bowlers don't turn up the series is gone anyway. Anderson would be bowling now if he was fit though, looked more like like hip discomfort tbf. Might be precautionary, if it's side he's gone obviously.
