Yeah we've picked some seriously mediocre bats in the last few years. There've been many, many worse Australian batsmen than Darsh.

Cameron White and George Bailey are up there but they were dropped quickly. And Bailey smashed Clouderson for 28 during his brief test career and gave us the "broken ****ing arm" bit. Marsh seems useless.Probably the worst, statistically over a long period, since his dad
Potential in his 30s?Nah. Seriously he ain’t that bad, just has been given a really easy ride for no other reason than potential.
North was better Maxwell will be miles better if given the chance. Henriques is an "allrounder".Henriques, Maxwell, North?
White was picked as a bowler. Never actually played a Test as a batsman.Cameron White and George Bailey are up there but they were dropped quickly. And Bailey smashed Clouderson for 28 during his brief test career and gave us the "broken ****ing arm" bit. Marsh seems useless.
YepIs it just me or does the pitch seem quicker today? Usually what happens at Brisbane isn't it?
RealityWhat happened to Mitch Marsh?
He's carrying an injury and not fit to bowl at the moment. Still around, could potentially play later in the series. What happened to Mitch Marsh?
nah Blewett & Elliott had plenty of tests for a 30 odd averageProbably the worst, statistically over a long period, since his dad
Good short leg though.White was picked as a bowler. Never actually played a Test as a batsman.
Bailey, Doolan, Burns and Maddinson are all worse than Marsh though, just off the top of my head. Doolan is my call -- got picked in a purple patch with a mediocre overall record, failed, and has continued to be mediocre domestically ever since. It feels weird that he actually played at all.
