***Official*** 1st Test at Brisbane

Probably the worst, statistically over a long period, since his dad
Cameron White and George Bailey are up there but they were dropped quickly. And Bailey smashed Clouderson for 28 during his brief test career and gave us the "broken ****ing arm" bit. Marsh seems useless.

Seriously Root, you saw the last over. Get Broad on. Just being a leftie doesn't mean Moeen will get him out.

Actually we haven't really. Not many that given an extended run anyway. You won't see Mad dog get another gig. North maybe can compare to Marsh

Jimmy is bowling well. Pitch seems to be quickening up. Ball is carrying really well through to Jonny B Goode

White was picked as a bowler. Never actually played a Test as a batsman.

Bailey, Doolan, Burns and Maddinson are all worse than Marsh though, just off the top of my head. Doolan is my call -- got picked in a purple patch with a mediocre overall record, failed, and has continued to be mediocre domestically ever since. It feels weird that he actually played at all.

Good short leg though.
