I get the need to be cautious with young blokes, but am surprised Ryles has dropped Tuivaiti from the 17. Kid has only played limited minutes and looks more than a decent front row prospect. And still no Guymer since round one is odd tstl. The pack he's picked for this week is pretty small.

Also think a Hands-Smith dummy half rotation is loads better than Lussick. I'm not convinced the latter adds anything at all tbh.

Battle of the ratting halves this week, with Brown v DCE. Absence of Jash Papalii from our 17 is also pretty **** tbh. I'd have binned Brown for him, the former has done sfa all year, and indeed the back half of last season too.

Dylan Walker signed from the Wahs immediately. Out with the old Dylan, in with the older one.

Not normally a signing I'd be overly enamored of, but if they want to let Brown go early it's smart, and tbh the team desperately needs experience, which he has in spades.

I’m not sure how much Dylan Walker has left in the tank tbh. But if he can replicate his Warriors energy off the bench for Parra it will be a good little short term signing.

agree with a lot of what Burgey has said on Parra. Guymer one game and gone was very odd to me. Is Simonsson injured still? He’s no superstar but he’s a better winger than the other 3 you’ve used so far for mine.

obviously i'm as tired of the friday night bronco **** fest as anyone but you can't fault their grotesque, wretched, two headed, backward fans for this: they get to games! i get it's made easier by them being the big enchilada in a two team town and getting a wristy from the nrl at their leisure but it's still good form, because i don't know any other club who'd get the numbers they do on a friday night (and even when they were bad they'd usually clock these sortsa numbers)

Just a quick reply..... The Dolphins are NOT a Brisbane side. Their base is 45 Klms from there and a separate city of its own... Like wise The Titans

I didn’t watch the game tbh just the highlights but objectively, doesn’t the worse team welcome wet conditions? Far more likely for a generally better team to make errors than normally. (not taking anything away from them ofc, great job, love to see Melbourne lose)

Simonsson played NSW Cup last week, so hopefully just getting some match fitness under his belt before coming back. His start to last season before his injury was the best I've seen him play so far, so I'd definitely have him back in ASAP.

I'm surprised we don't have Matterson or Cartwright out there in lieu of some of the barely FG backrowers we've been selecting as well. Can be absolute plodders at times, but we've lacked all creativity so far which they could add something to you would think

Sorry but that’s absolutely not the case once they entered and dropped Redcliffe from their name and play home games out of Suncorp.

I wish they had have retained the name and been Redcliffe playing only major affairs at Suncorp, but they’re not.

surely there’s no other explanation than Ryles trying to oust those 2. Matterson at 100% is the best prop at the club imo.
